When you order tooling from us, we take care of the entire process, including design, manufacture and implementation into production.
The norm on the market is to do all the stages separately – you need a design company, a company that will manufacture it and a company that will put it into production.


As a result, the client often spends large sums of money on tooling but ends up with no detail.


At Prasmet, we avoid the conflict between designer, contractor and manufacturer and the pushing back of responsibility for non-functioning tools or a non-conforming product – the whole process is in one place.

In connection with the implementation of the EU project ‘Introduction of dies and punches made of new material grades in instruments’, Prasmet has expanded its offer with dies and punches made of new materials, including K390 steel. The Technology and Tooling Department (tool room) offers comprehensive services for developing technological processes, designing tooling for them and implementing them on our own machinery. We specialise in metal forming and EDM processes, where our engineering staff has many years of experience. Our speciality is the design, manufacture and implementation of punching, stamping and multi-tooling jigs, etc. based on the submitted drawing of the target workpiece.

Breakdown in production? We are fast and flexible – we insert the dies, make the stamps and deliver to the customer even in a few hours!

We also develop machining processes for cam machines and Tornos CNC lathes. We can carry out the design of punches, stamping dies, bending dies, multi-operation jigs (also for Bihler-type automatic machines) and injection moulds. Documentation can be provided as 2D and 3D files. Electro-engineering is carried out on the basis of the provided dwg/dxf/stp or other files. In the absence of documentation, we can reproduce the component on the basis of our own measurements.

The machinery at our disposal ensures the highest quality of the tools/components produced:
among others, a CNC MACHO DMU 60 milling machine, a FANUC Robocut α-1 and D ED wire cutting machine with a hollowing area of 400 x 600 mm and a new purchase for the tool room of a well-known Swiss company AgieCharmilles ED wire cutting machine with a hollowing area of 350 x 250 mm
